We can add skylights, over-sized floor lamps and chandeliers. Everything else that we add to the hotel lobby – practical and functional furniture or art works that are simply visual – could be non-existent without proper lighting.
The hotel rooms should radiate atmosphere and comfort. Good hotel room lighting should be glare-free and cast little shadow. In the hotel rooms, lamps provide the background lighting or pleasant indirect lighting.
Perfect restaurant lighting are atmosphere and zoning. Tables and other seating areas call for a relaxing atmosphere. The light should be bright enough for food and drink to be seen in their best light, but subdued enough to create a sense of privacy.
